 Hello everyone,
Today we had to read the book Percy Jackson and synthesise the text. The goal was to use knowledge from text to combine with new ideas (own and others) to come up with new thinking & think while reading, pick up new information, and come up with new ideas and new thinking.

Hello everyone ,

For Maths we did fractions. 

Question 1: 

In order to combat extreme hunger around the world, agriculture systems worldwide must become

-more productive; and

-less wasteful.

There are a few different systems being used in Africa in order to feed their people, especially their children. 

Which Farmer was most successful?

Farmer A planted 8 rows of 8 lettuces and yielded 3/4 of his crop

= 3/4 x 8 x 8

= 3/4 x 64

= 48

Farmer B planted  10 rows of 6 lettuces and yielded  5/6 of his crop

= 5/6 x 10 x 6

= 5/6 x 50

= 50

Farmer B is more successful.

Hi everyone,

How can I be a great Maths buddy?

1. I should be attentive and notice if anything needs attention

2. I should be helpful and offer my help with work no matter how difficult

3. I should also listen to my buddy's problems and offer help 

4. I must not be too selfish and expect solutions to my own problems only 

5. I must not be calculative and do my share of work also instead of expecting my buddy to do everything

6. I must share responsibility and ideas
