ReplyDeleteHey John,
ReplyDeleteI’m Daniel from the SLJ Blog commenting team. I’m looking forward to seeing all your amazing blog posts and I hope you’re enjoying your summer.
Awesome work on both your insect creation and your haikus. Your grasshopper looks awesome. I love the ferny leaves for the wings and the different ridges to the long body. Lots of detail here and creative use of colours and materials, great job.
This insect haiku made me laugh, bugs can be a horrible annoyance in the summer especially at night. Did you know that bug spray isn’t poisonous to insects but they can’t see through it, so instead of working like a shield it’s more like an invisibility cloak that stops them from seeing you.
Your cat Haiku was very sweet, kind off dark at the beginning but with a defiant happy ending.
Upon reading your first haiku though, I was disappointed to see you had shared someone else's example. I think now that you have had more practice you should take down your first haiku and replace it with a new original of your own.
Merry Christmas John,
See you later in the comments.
Daniel
Hi Daniel
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comments. The invisibility cloak is just like Harry Potter's but the other way around.I can't seem to remember sharing someone else's example.
Hi Daniel,
ReplyDeleteI have worked on my first haiku. Have a look and tell me what you think.
